In my journey, I’ve transitioned from being a client's "friend" to their "skin's boss". It’s not about being authoritative but about reclaiming the role of a professional skin therapist – and being proud of it!
I'm not here to put on a show or be someone I'm not. The Robyn you see online? That's the same Robyn you'd meet at an event or bump into at a café. This is my life's work, my passion, my calling. And while I might mess up now and then (like forgetting to pack a book in a wait for it… book order – oops!), I'm always real with you.
You won't find a carbon copy of me, and I'm certainly not here to create an army of mini-me’s. I'm here to guide, inspire, and support you in finding and being the absolute BEST version of yourself. At the end of the day, I'm just like you. I face challenges, I learn from my experiences, and I share my journey—hoping that it might light up yours.

At 40 I decided I wanted to learnt to ride a motorbike! Now my holidays consist of Motorbikes in the Himalayan mountains- scaring myself half to death but I wouldn't have it any other way!

Masala Chai, not the powder, the tea, IYKYK! Nothing beats the ritual of brewing a cuppa and letting all the spicy flavours infuse.
My fave blend? Bon Chai is my preferred poison

Became an ABIA finalist; launched the Skinside Out online program; pioneering online skin consultations in our industry.
2016
Travelled to India for six months; attended another IAC conference in Germany; conducted first live educational video's on social media.
2017
Became a Dermaviduals first Brand Ambassador; rebranded my skin clinic to Skintifix; started writing regularly for magazines.
2018
First ever Keynote at a Corneotherapy conference; won "Corneotherapist of the Year"; trekked to Everest Base Camp.
2019
Published first book, Skinside Out, selling internationally; Skintifix won "Dermaviduals Clinic of the Year"; awarded "Corneotherapist of the Year" for the third consecutive year.
2020–23
Pivoted business model during the pandemic; downsized salon; hired first apprentice; secured a regular writing gig for a magazine.
2021
Went viral for the first time & navigated some bullies; achieved record sales; became a Dermaviduals Platinum Partner.
2022
Launched the Skinside Out Squad, a mentoring community for therapists; was a guest at a Medical Microneedling conference in Turkey.
2023
Hosted the Skinside Out Retreat; won "Australian Salon of the Year"; launched first skin consultation mastermind; motorbiked across Northern India.
Founded Transforming Beauty, supporting women and girls in India affected by abuse and trafficking; motorbiked across Tibet & hiked to Mount Everest base camp with my 64-year-old mother.#proud

Celebrating 20 years in the industry, reflecting on a career of passion, growth, & impact. (Watch this space!)
Sceptical about the industry, began beauty college & discovered it ain't all bad.
2006
Kicked off my first job in a spa-style salon cutting my teeth in the fluffy stuff; became a pole dancing instructor.
2007
Moved to a clinical cosmetic clinic; felt inadequate & realised a need for deeper skin knowledge.
2008
Completed a short course in Paramedical Aesthetics.
2009
Opened my clinic, Laser Effect, with a laser & microderm machine, I was going places!
Attended cosmetic chemistry & skin analysis courses; fell head over heels for Corneotherapy.
2011
Won "Best New Business"; attended my first international skin conference in Germany; introduced advanced skincare products and LED therapy to the business.
2012
Started building my team, refining treatment offerings & fumbling my way through consultations.
2013
Joined as an "Expert Skin Therapist"; put my face to the test and did a supermarket skincare experiment to document its effects.
2014
Won "Corneotherapist of the Year"; attended more international skin conferences; bought my first skin analysis device.
